Same experience on both Chevron and Hyatt. Bucks not crediting. Called in. She tried to tell me that the 3x bucks offers take 4 hours to activate, and so my offer wasn’t activated when I ordered. She wanted me to cancel the order and reorder them. I told her that this had never happened before and that the amounts showed up on the screen as I was checking out, and that one purchase was at least 8 hours after I activated the offer. She’s currently checking into it and says she will call me back in 30 minutes.
Based on the differing responses CSRs are giving, it’s clear they don’t know this is a system-wide issue yet or at least the info hasn’t filtered down to the CSRs.
Heads up – the 3X ebay bucks promo is not being applied to my Chevron gift card purchase. Called ebay and they claim the T&Cs on this offer are different.

My eBay bucks for the Chevron cards didn’t post immediately. I called in and was issued a certificate.
Those are the same terms as before though. Notice how it says EBAY gift cards, not Gift Cards.
If they’re withholding eBay bucks from you, call in and ask for your eBay bucks to be credited.
Yeah, I’m not sure I’d want to do this and have “eyes” on my account. Reduced discounts, potential portal clawback, reduced ebay buck multiplier and a decent chance the ebay bucks don’t post? Eh, me thinks not.

Do eBay giftcardmall purchases still get 5x points on Ink Plus?

Seems to be a trend w/ SVM selling gas gift cards at a $5 markup from previous price points ($90 to $95). Coupled with only a 3x multiplier and it’s a no go for me.
Yeah, it is sad that $95 has become their new price point. Definitely, makes the deals less lucrative, but you could still make about $12.21 with the Chevron deal – $5.70 from 2% CC, $5.70 from portal, $17.10 eBay bucks = $28.50 minus $16.29 from reselling ($2.04 shipping and $14.25 loss from ABC). The offer is not terrible if you got discounted eBay gift cards that you need to cash out as you can potentially make more money.

How did you determine the Southwest limit of 3? It isn’t referenced on the item listing.
Try to buy more than 3 and you’ll get a message that says: “Purchases are limited to 3 per buyer”
I picked up 2 last week and today its letting me do 2 more. If I do 3, quantity not available.
Sometimes eBay lets you do this, but I wouldn’t do that.
I also got 3x ebay bucks today… so I may get Hyatt.

Have you placed your order yet? For some reason even though it said I would earn my $17.10 on the Chevron gift cards (so the 6%) I didn’t get ANY eBay bucks. Not sure what’s going on here.
Same thing happened to me – they usually post right away, but there might be a delay b/c the purchase does not even show up on the eBay bucks activity tab. I would have been worried if it showed and it had $0.00 as the earned amount like it does for eBay gift card purchases.
i think eBay check out is messed up today… i had a problem applying certain gift cards but not other ones, then they would all work later, then they got deleted… there is something going on, so i decided to wait a little.
I’m having the same problem today. My GCs won’t add to the order. When they add, they would delete later. Not sure what’s going on.
