Our Verdict
Award flights are tied to how much a ticket costs in cash, so this is a good time to book flights to use up your points. Points are usually worth a maximum of 1.89¢ but that’s usually on the more expensive Mint redemptions and those aren’t valid for this promotion. Can’t be used on award flights as pointed out in the comments. Best card to use for this purchase would be the Barclaycard JetBlue card, earning 6x points.

I don’t think award travel is discounted the 30%. Only seems to apply to paid tickets.
