- Now open, your own private lounge at Gatwick from £37.50! by Head For Points. Basically able to hire a private room with complimentary food and drinks for £150. Not really great value, especially if you already have lounge access but a nice idea as a wedding present for a honeymooning couple or even family get away.
- United 25000 Miles Mercedes Benz Offer by Points Centric. Obviously you have to be crazy to base a car purchase around 25k in miles, but if you were already planning on purchasing one it’s worth a look.
- Will Citi Launch a New ThankYou Business Card? by Rapid Travel Chai. Only a matter of time before their business cards get a revamp, hopefully it happens soon rather than later.
- DEAD DEAL! A look back on the Target $400 Visa GC for $399 by Miles Per Day. A look at a deal that no longer works but was highly profitable while it lasted. Sometimes deals just die, even when they aren’t blogged about. But good lessons in this post about trying new things and testing until you get it to work.
- Join airberlin’s topbonus scheme and get a free visit to their ‘waiting areas’ before 15 November by Miles From Blighty. From what I understand their waiting areas are really just shit lounges. They sometimes offer bonus miles for joining, but a visit to the waiting area might be preferable for some.
- Card Breach at Hilton Hotel Properties by Kerb on Security. Hilton say they are investigating the issue, but it doesn’t sound promising at all.
- How to access Priority Pass lounges with no card by Points With A Crew. Most lounges are good about giving you access without a card, but it really depends on how busy they are and the management at each lounge, so always double check before leaving!
- Try Out This New Award Calculator for Manufactured Spenders by Travel Codex. Eric also contacted me about covering this calculator, it looks interesting and I know some of you will find it useful. Hopefully he can get everywhere to everywhere added, although fuel surcharges are the big thing for me.
I would be so happy if Citi released a business TYP card.
