Our Verdict

Many utility bills can be paid with a credit card directly. If you have a bill that doesn’t allow credit card payments, this is a really nice deal.

Question is how long it will last. You should be able to schedule out payments for a while if the bill is a recurring amount. You can also set up payments to go out more often than once-per-month in order to hit the 6-requirement.

Plastiq writes a definition of ‘utilities’ as including the following: Water, Electric, Waste (Garbage / Sewage), and Gas/Propane.
