- The $300 minimum can be reached using your Chase Sapphire Preferred card, your points, or both

Our Verdict
Good deal for CSP cardholders. Might as well book out speculatively if you aren’t planning on traveling by August 31.
You can use points to pay for the booking at a redemption value of 1.25 cents per point. For many, it won’t be worth using up Ultimate Rewards points at that value, but it could be worth it for some.
Also remember that Chase Freedom is offering 10x rewards on hotel and car rental bookings made through the Chase portal in July.
