What was the deadline for spending $1000? 60days or 90 days? I have not find it written anywhere!
I really like that they list each purchase amount which is then followed by the bonus amount !

Decided to apply for this in the evening after being approved for the Arrival + in the early morning (TU pull alarms had already went off from CK and other credit monitoring). This application was not instant approved, and stayed “pended” for about a week, and I checked the status daily. I decided not to call recon to try to get it approved, because I wasn’t real excited about the card. Also, I believe I read in Doc’s list of things to know Barclays.. if you call recon, they pull your credit again. So, I resisted. Got Welcome to CashForward e-mail yesterday, 8 days after applying. Logged on their website to find a small limit CL of only $2500, but that’s enough for me to get my signup bonus so it’s ok. To be fair, my stated income is not very high right now too, but neither are my expenses.
DP: VA TU (pull was combined for same day apps), low-ball CL of $2.5K on second card, 775 FICO. ($12.5K on Arrival +, first card) Past history w/ Barclay card: last year, Arrival (non-plus), and I closed the card right after bonus, so they don’t appear to hold a grudge. 🙂
I made a single $1,000 purchase. The $200 bonus (and the 1.5% cashback) were available for redemption on the same day that the purchase posted. That was quick!

Applied 5 hours ago, got instant approval for 8k, already set up online profile, not sure will get 200 bonus or not due to never got approval email yet.
Got approval email today even it was instant approval yesterday, however, my email mentioned 1.5 point per dollar etc, but no where mentioning $200 bonus, anyone else has similar problems?

Applied in the afternoon after being declined for TD Bank Cash CC, got approved for 3k limit (lowest of all my cards). Still pretty good. Was my first TU enquiry in the year. 🙂

Barclay can be difficult for approval for first-time customers. One you have at least one card with Barclay, their approval for additional cards tends to be more favorable.
The key to wait about 6 months between new applications.
