The Fine Print

  • $50 gift card purchase must be made between September 1st – September 30th
  • Valid on electronic or physical Amazon gift cards
  • $50 purchase must be placed in a single order
  • An email notification will also be sent within three days after shipping confirming your Amazon.com Credit

Our Verdict

This comes around every month, you might only be able to do it once per lifetime – not exactly sure how it works out if you’re targeted or not. Use a credit card that earns at a high rate on Amazon purchases to get a larger discount. Currently your best bet would be the Discover it, that is earning 5% cash back (and doubled for some as well).

Just like AMEX CC, these are once in a lifetime. Good for first timers tho…

Do you guys know what makes you eligible for this promo? I’ve never qualified according to any of the links I’ve seen, at least not in the last year.

Looks like some things were C&Ped from last month’s promotion, lol

The promotion code is old as well. It should be “0916GCARDS” not “0816GCARDS”

Anyway, big Amazon spenders such as I are almost always guaranteed to not qualify for targeted promotions like these, unfortunately…including this one. Oh well
