The Offer
- Paypal Digital Gifts is selling a $200 eBay e-gift card for just $195. Limit 1.
Stacking the Deal
- eBay discounts are always nice; what’s even better is that you can pay with the Chase INK card and that has been working to get 5x points for PPDG purchases.
- Also, although the portal doesn’t usually include eBay gift cards, the e-gift cards sometimes work regardless. See your options here.
- You can also buy this eBay gift card with an eBay gift card purchased previously. Roll, roll, roll…it won’t last forever.
Not a fan of buying these or supporting these sales. Just like the gas cards that went from 10% off to 5% off, if we keep buying this sub-par sale the same thing will happen. 5% is default and they have had them fairly often so just wait it out until the next one if you can.
Welcome to Free-Market economics!
I agree deals like that are not worth the effort but to push Ebay not to accept buying GC with GC soon.
agreed. 2.5% is not worth the effort. plus if you roll, it counts against your $5k rolling GC usage.
Some reason it won’t accept my two $100 gift cards. When I add the second one, the other one disappears. When I delete the second one the first one reappears.
Common problem – read this:

Thanks Octavio, but that one didn’t work for me. At the top it still shows me I owe the money that should be covered by the gift card unlike in that page. I think my problem is different.
Hmm, the same thing happened when I placed my last gift card order. I know on the right you’ll still see that you need to pay something, when both cards are entered (but only see one), but the very top where it has your paypal email address should say something to the effect of “gift cards, coupons, etc covering your purchase.”
It’s interesting because I just made an order a couple hours ago on eBay using multiple gift cards, and it processed entirely correctly, without any tricks and miscommunications at all.
“5% off eBay is nice;”
Yes, it is. Of course, this deal is only 2.5% off, but beggars can’t be choosers 😉
2.5%= 195/200
It’s 2.5%, not 5% this time.
Sorry, copy and paste mistake 🙂 Let me fix that.
