Our Verdict
Terms say you need to be sent an e-mail, but I was able to register without one (looks like it’ll say you’re not eligible if you try to activate). Not sure if I’ll actually get the cash back, but might as well activate as I’ll likely make a $10+ purchase within that timeframe anyway.

Hi, I got targeted. I enrolled and I made a purchase of $15 BurgerKing gift card for $14.50 in Raise. Do I qualify for the $10 promo? Since, on the Raise with the TopCashBack saying has to be $20 or more in order for the 2% cash back.
Hi, yes you will need to still spend $20 or more because your cashback from Raise won’t track unless you meet that amount of spend, meaning it won’t trigger the bonus.

Thanks for the link DoC! I didn’t get the email but was targeted anyways. I just drained my topcashback account which seems to have helped since having a ton of unused cash back seemed to make me less likely to be targeted for these offers.
I don’t understand all the hate for topcashback. It works perfectly fine if you know how to not break shopping portal sites. If you use any privacy extensions or adblocking extensions, they won’t work. I personally just disable my extensions before going on topcashback or rakuten, but some people use a separate browser with no extensions or modifications. Another pro tip is to go to the website and add everything to your cart and make an account, then go to the shopping portal site then all you need to do is click through and pay. Topcashback had a TON of deals like this for extra $3. $5, $10, $15 back and they pay within 1-3 months, just like every other cashback site. Their customer service is also friendly if you have questions.

Anyone being targeted using their TopCashback account or been away for a while? I wasn’t targeted/eligible and have made some purchases recently.
Stay away from TCB. They never pay. Worst company I’ve dealt with. Just go with Rakuten.
TCB pays dimes and ebates/kraken pays pennies. So even with a 50% success rate TCB comes out a lot better than ebates. I would suggest befrugal for more reliable payouts and reasonable cashback rates.
Agreed, have only had a bad experience with them. They have denied three offers I have done fresh chrome instance, help ticketed and will not want to provide credit. Only place I’ve ever had that happen.

Extensions like AdBlock, Disconnect or even vanilla Brave browser have tracking issues (by design)
I use Chrome on my phone or laptop (AdBlock disabled temporarily) and purchases have tracked nicely
I’ve had good experience with TCB in general even after once-in-a-while hiccups (like my Hilton cb took 12 months :/ )

Agreed. Even if they do pay, generally it’s not worth the time wasted jumping through hoops.
I’m 6 months in and now battling at cashout stage. They have a clause in VISA gift card agreement where that can request a photo ID. And of course they did. Not only that, they requested invoice for 6 months old purchase.
Before that I was battling for months because purchase did not track. No way it takes 4 months to verify purchase with merchant.
Why are they doing it? I guess some people will not fight because it’s not worth the time. Some will forget.

I have to disagree. according to TCB, they have paid me $7500 from the time I opened an account. I recall just 1 or 2 instances where I didn’t get paid even after filing the missing cashback report.
At least in my experience, they do pay.. it’s just that once the ETA passes you have to bug them about it and they make it sound like a great favor that they’re paying you from TCB’s coffers rather the merchant acting as they contracted. Happened a few times. Of course that was earlier this year. Yours might be more recent.

Walgreens has a 20% off coupon on their site but not on topcashback, how likely will I have trouble with it tracking/getting the credit if I use the promo
I got the email and a small order at Sam’s Club tracked about 90 minutes later, cashback pending for both. FWIW I’ve been having trouble with Swagbucks tracking recently but historically have had great luck with both.
I received an e-mail about installing their browser extension by 10/23 for a $2 bonus.
I got that $2 offer too. Got my $2 within 24hrs and initiated payout today.
