The Fine Print
- Purchases made with your Frontwave Visa Signature Rewards credit card will earn 7 reward points for every dollar spent between 5/16/22 – 6/30/22. Reward points earned will be paid and available to redeem on daily basis. 7X reward points will be issued for purchases for any rewards card used and attached to the primary rewards account. 70,000 bonus points will be awarded if purchases total $5,000 or more within 90 days of account opening for new Frontwave Visa Signature Rewards credit cards opened between 5/16/22 – 6/30/22. Exclusions: Balance transfers, cash advances, returns, or merchant credit do not qualify for 7X reward points or toward 70,000 bonus points offer. Subject to approval. Rates, terms, and conditions depend on credit qualifications. Must be a member or qualify for membership to receive a card.
Our Verdict
Card will also earn 7x points until 6/30. This is obviously an insane deal and much better than the previous $400/4x deal.  Points are worth 1¢ each when redeemed towards statement credit. They also offer a $100 checking bonus. Membership is restricted so most people won’t be eligible to apply. Must also Live, work or worship in either San Diego, Riverside or San Bernardino counties according to the checking bonus.

This bank is the worst. They limit CC payments to $2010 daily and $10010 monthly from external accounts. Have to plan on doing bill pay or ACHing money into this stupid account every month.

Not touching this one based on the amount of difficulty people have had with their $100 banking bonus. Would rather do a $500 for $5k spend bonus from a real bank and save myself the headache.

This is a really bad credit union. Treats “members” so awfully that it is beyond comprehension of myself who spent all his working years on banking institution regulation.
Just goes to show how “credit union” doesn’t necessarily always mean “better service”
Don’t get me wrong. Big banks are scummy af, but don’t underestimate the capacity for shitty behavior to show up in smaller banks too
FYI another eligibility criteria in their online application is that you must be one of these two:
* US Citizen
* Permanent Resident
(Funnily, they let you submit a non-US passport number as ID proof)
