Reader Kris adds: The fine print says ‘Misc House Furnishings’ which looks like is MCC 5719. A quick Google search said these following stores might code as 5719: Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn.com, Corning, Revere Factory Outlet. You might be able to find a Bed Bath & Beyond store that still sells third party gift cards.

I just got an email offer for this on my DC card, expires 1/13/24. I’m still not entirely sure what “Furnishing Specialty Stores” are. Has anyone had success with this in the past?

I’ve been waiting for over four months for Citi to honor my cashback for purchasing a Visa gift card on giftcard.com with my DC. Citi is as bad as BoA (online purchase category) in not honoring advertised deals. Its a consumer rip off racket.
Online: PayPal always works
Bed Bath & Beyond stopped selling 3rd party gift cards in February 2022.
They stopped selling everythang in June 2023
it’s not a Citi offer it’s a pop up offer.
It would be good by skipping this offer and keeping good blood pressure rather than run non-stop from one customer service to another. This never ever tracked and I had to fight for this 15$. Many who come on chat don’t even have a clue about Citi offers and end up giving 1-800 numbers for the endless wait.
