Our Verdict
I can see this card be worth keeping due to the free night certificate annually for some people. Otherwise doesn’t seem to be that useful. I’m surprised they are allowed the Prestige branding given the Citi Prestige card (soon to be relaunched as Citi Strata Elite).
So if you are an exisitng Diamond with Caesars does this mean that you get 2 x $100 dinners?
Checking their list of status benefits, this seems to be a new one: Platinum and above can earn “One free night in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Laughlin or Reno for every 5,000 Tier Credits earned in 2025, up to seven nights.” If this stacks with the credit card bonus TCs, some people could score a couple of additional free nights.
Getting Platinum for 1st year may be valuable if you are planning to go to Atlantis, Bahamas during January, May, September or October during your year 1. You get 4 Free Nights (you still pay some taxes and gratuity, but comes down to $70 a day).
If interested, I would first find out how year 1 is treated given that Caesar status is given from February 1st to January 31st. If you get the card now… will you still keep your Platinum status after 02/01/2026?
Waive resort fees or it’s worthless
That comes with Diamond status, not Platinum
The cash advance earnings…could this be used to come out “ahead”
Take cash advance…earn rewards credits…. and immediately pay off the cash advance.
The rewards credits would out weight the interest from cash advance …I think…
Would need to be very diligent and may lead to shut down also. …not clear if regular cash advances work or if its only to their casinos/apps gambling etc….
Cash advance fees are usually 3-5% so not worth it for reward credits worth a bit less than 1c.
There are no cash advance fees supposedly ….prob not for their casinos and games at least….so possibly just the daily interest…..which if can be paid in 0 1 or 2 days it might get interesting …..too much for me to try but maybe for others
2.5K Tier Credits after $1K welcome bonus
2.5K Tier Credits after $5K spend
2.5K Tier Credits after $10K spend
15K Tier Credits after $50K spend
Does anyone know if these credit card earned tier credits count towards a free night after each 5K tier credit? Per the Diamond member benefits.
This would be good for a total of at least 5 free nights with the annual free night included.
Spend $2500 at ceasers properties or gamble for 2.5K more tier credits and get a 6th free night
Seems like it would count. Year one is 7.5k tier credits for $10,000 spend….year 2 and beyond its only 5k tier credits for the same $10k spend.
So conceivable one could spend $50k yearly and recieve diamond status plus 4 free nights plus the aniverary night…..
Something to consider is the credit card aniverary spend requirement and the diamond yearly dates. Is earned diamond good for that reminding year only or does it include the following year?
If doesn’t include following year there might be shortened timeframe to use the free nights and enjoy the Diamond perks….might make most sense to get this card Feb 1st to line up with rewards program year
Also those free nights are subject to blackout dates etc…might not be that valuable. Mid week or slow season they can give comped rooms anyway.
No diamond status…. I’d rather have a Best western card ha
100% agree. This card is worthless. Avarice fueled casinos can take but they sure can’t give back.

I’d only be interested if it came with free parking without platinum.
Sounds like you get platinum if you use the card just once? Or is it only for the first year?
Just 1st year unfortunately.
Free parking is the only tangible benefit for Platinum so that’s distinction without a difference.
Kinda sad how little people even will accept to be happy nowadays. How about free parking for everyone everywhere anytime? I am old enough to remember casino parking was free and they tried to lure you in with 4.99 steak breakfast.
What happened to Las Vegas? It used to be cheap hotels and food, free drinks, you go gamble all day then hit the strip club to spend money you won or to forget about the money you lost – simple fun.
Now $600 rooms, Gordon fn Ramsay everywhere trying to charge $50 for a cheeseburger, $25 parking and $60 to dip in the pool?!
Well, that was a long way to say – no Caesar, not interested.
Yep, good times. It changed because now a days many more people go to Vegas not to gamble, but enjoy other stuff… somebody have to pay for all those perks. Used to be gamblers.. but not anymore.
Just applied. Instant approval. They ask if you want a link texted to you to use the card before you get it in the mail. The link didn’t work…
I think there’s a decent use case here as a keeper card. I get to Vegas once a year and never make it to platinum but usually earn at least 2500 points per year with that and +EV sports betting. You also get $10 a month in bonus bets sports betting if platinum so that plus the free hotel night, slot play, and $100 dinner makes it a decent keeper. The problem is coming up with $10,000 spend and neglecting putting that back on a CB card. The free annual hotel room puts it over the edge
Congrats Matt F.
I was solicited for this card (popup after logging into my Caesars account) with a “preapproval” I was “invited to accept”. Alas, no instant approval here, 10-14 days, despite an Equaifax hard pull (I’m in North Carolina).
For some reason I think they still think my Sagestream is frozen…? We’ll see.
Is the existing Caesars Visa changing for that 5K tier bonus after spending $5000 per year? Now I see that the new no fee version shows 2.5K points after $5000 spent? So has it gotten worse on the existing card? Not sure if the existing holders are grandfathered or the new rule applies going forward?
Yes, this does seem to be a devaluation for existing cardholders. Thankfully, I already got my tier credits for spending $5000 this year.
