Update 8/21/25: Can now actually apply for the card.
The Booking.com credit card has now launched. Card details are as follows:
- No annual fee
- $150 in Credits after spending $1,500 in the first 90 days
- Immediate upgrade to genius level 3
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 6% back in travel credits on accommodation booked on booking.com
- 5% back in travel credits on travel booked on booking.com
- 3% back in travel credits on dining, gas & groceries
- 3% back in travel credits on “in trip” bookings of up to $10,000. Must be within 50 miles of your trip
- 2% back in travel credits on all other purchases
- Annual spend bonus of $100 in travel credits when you spend $15,000 during a cardmember year
Card isn’t awful but I don’t see much use for it for people in our hobby but maybe I’ve missed something.
I found this image on the Booking website of 2 different credit cards. Are we able to select the design we want, or is the “.yeah” card a different product?

As others have pointed out, an intriguing card for frequent budget travel. 6% is almost double what some other top travel cards offer without extra gimmicks to play with for cheap lodging. Booking.com offers a lot of cheap rates around the word, however, in some regions you may make most payments at the property in cash or through other modalities — rendering the card pointless for those reservations.
Factor that in if you find another card offering similar or better benefits.
I’ve had several hotels on Booking which had cash payments only at the property. Booking is really a mixed bag, it’s not like AirBnB where everything is standardized.
Booking also lists mid priced and high end priced properties in addition to inexpensive properties.

This card has no FTF and 6% back in travel credits on booking dot com can be useful for travelers. I would pull the trigger if the SUB was better (> $400).
I’ve used Booking loads of times for cheap international hotels. I can see the value if you’re a budget traveler, or “backpack through Europe.”
i’m a heavy booking user – level 3 for a longtime. yeah sub is lame. pass.
Also been level 3 for awhile and also giving this a pass.
Excellent extended warranty benefit.
I just glanced over the benefits and couldn’t determine if the rental car coverage is secondary or primary.

I see solid value in this card at 6%. Lately, booking has been less than hotels. It’s harder to get the hotels gift card. 6% is equivalent to 3x at its max of 2%x3. The question is insurance. What I insurance is included?
Ah, ‘SSSS,’ the notorious ‘bad-sign’ on any boarding pass (extra screening).
I looked through the T&C documents and didn’t see any mention of any type of insurance. I also don’t see anything about this card on their website so maybe they’re still working out all the details before officially launching it? But otherwise that’s a big disadvantage compared to the OneKey cards and almost every other travel card out there.
I was hoping to see something about CDW. Primary would be great like Onekey+

Problem is you if you only chase value and no status this card makes sense but a lot more people would rather have a higher status at a hotel chain or airline.
Booking hotels through CC’s “own” travel portals normally pays 10%, although the selection sometime sucks.
This would have been sort of decent when I was booking about 60 days of places on Booking a few months ago I guess.

Yes that’s correct, the travel credits will be added to your booking.com account. Also they expire after 2 years but there’s no minimum redemption limit so it should be easy to use.
