The Fine Print
- Offer valid only from 12/17/16 through 12/23/16 from 12AM to 11:59pm (PT); while supplies last
- Within 10 days, you will receive an e-mail from Amazon that indicates the dollar amount of the promotional credit and that the dollar amount of the credit has been added to your customer account; the e-mail will also provide instructions on how to redeem the promotional credit; please note that there may be up to a 6 hour delay from subscription start time to the promotional credit grant
- Promotional credit expires at 11:59 p.m. PST 90 days from date the promotional credit is received
- If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies
- If you cancel your Audible membership, the full dollar amount of the promotional credit you received will be deducted from any refund owed

Our Verdict
The terms state that “if you cancel your Audible membership, the full dollar amount of the promotional credit you received will be deducted from any refund owed,” meaning you won’t get the $14.95 refunded or prorated, but so long as you are willing to pay the $14.95 to get the $25 Amazon credit that won’t be a problem.
Assuming you can easily use the $25 Amazon credit before it expires, this turns out to be a $10 moneymaker. It’s especially a good deal for someone who has use for Audible or who wants to try it out.
Not sure if this deal will work if you’ve had an Audible membership in the past.

What if we never received the amazon credit? Its been since the 17th since I signed up for audible

Nice! Audible keeps on giving. They were doing a deal a few months ago on Groupon where you get two free months (and you can gift two free months to someone else). So I signed up with five different accounts and got a ton of free audio books.
I just closed my membership 18 days ago and this worked. I got the Amazon credit almost instantly

Yes, it says you can cancel anytime, but I’d wait until after getting the Amazon promotional credit (10 days).
Got it instantly applied to my account. I guess I’ll give Audible a try for the month then cancel before renewal.
