The Fine Print
- Bonus offer valid only on conversions received from eligible participating hotel partner loyalty programs points into Aeroplan Miles made between November 5th and December 3rd, 2018 (23:59 EDT).
- Bonus Aeroplan Miles will be issued by Aeroplan as follows: once the total Aeroplan Miles are earned by exchanging points from any combination of eligible partner programs during the promotion, the bonus miles deposited will represent 30% of the total miles earned from the exchange.
- Bonus Aeroplan Miles may take up to 4-6 weeks to be credited after the promotional offer end date of December 3rd, 2018.
Our Verdict
Last time they offered this bonus it excluded SPG & Marriott, but this time it includes those brands. Those brands are really on the only ones worth considering, as the others offer poor transfer rates. You can’t use it with hotel + air packages though. You can transfer 60,000 Marriott points for 32,500 Aeroplan miles after taking into account the bonus offered. How good that deal is will depend on how much you value both currencies. They have offered a 35% transfer bonus in the past.
