The Fine Print
- During the “Treat Yourself Bonus” campaign, which runs from 05/09/18 through 05/16/18 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will receive a one-time bonus of 500 Mileage Plan TM bonus miles on cumulative qualifying purchases made through the Mileage Plan TM Shopping mall or from purchases made through Mileage Plan TM Shopping in-store offers. This one-time bonus award will be determined based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period: Earn 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $200 or more. All other terms apply. Void where prohibited by law.
- “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles. Please see the Mileage Plan TM Shopping site for details on product eligibility and other restrictions. Please allow 8-10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus miles to post to your Mileage Plan TM Shopping account.
Our Verdict
Basically an additional 2.5x miles per $1 spent if you spend exactly $200. As always make sure you compare to other portals using something like cashbackmonitor to ensure you’re getting a good deal. American Airlines also has the same deal but for only 400 miles instead of 500.
