Simon Mall announced today that they are closing all locations tonight, March 18, at 7 pm local time. The malls will remain closed through March 29 to avoid spreading COVID-19. I suspect the malls weren’t being patronized much anyway, so this might have been a cost-savings measure as well.
Not sure how many people are going out these days at all, but tonight would be the last chance if you are making a Visa gift card run. There have also been reports that malls were out of Visa gift cards.
Really excited about Simon re-opening tomorrow!

I don’t believe Woodfield mall in Illinois is reopening but we are under stay at home orders so that might be why.

Made my last run yesterday after they closed early. The Domain was a ghost town here in Austin, TX but the guest services center had 25k to sell me. Better than TP!
