Our Verdict
If you can find stuff you’d be buying anyway, the 33% discount is an excellent deal.
Remember to use the Jetblue portal for 3 miles per dollar. And use Discover for 5% back on Amazon this quarter or use the Amex Offer for 3x MR on Amazon.

I don’t know how other peoples’ experience have been with ordering groceries from Amazon, but I’ve basically given up on it. If I order the Ritz crackers or Oreos it’s pretty much guaranteed I’m getting cracker dust and cookie crumbs. My worst experience though was with beverages, which punctured and made a huge sticky mess on the inside of the shipping box.
Other grocery delivery services (like Google Express) work fine, since the stuff only has to travel a few miles from store to home. With Amazon though, at least my groceries are literally traveling hundreds of miles, through multiple UPS facilities. It just doesn’t stand a chance.

Nuttiest grouping of “holiday essentials” that I’ve seen, but nonetheless thanks for the post.
