The Offer

  • Amazon is offering a discount of 25% on select Amazon devices when you use one Discover point to pay

Our Verdict

Earlier today we posted a similar deal but that required a Membership Rewards point. This deal will be useful for anybody that didn’t get targeted for that deal/doesn’t have American Express MR points. You can also use an Amazon gift card with this, learn how to do that here. For a full list of other Amazon deals you might be able to combine this with, read this post.

I think this is targeted possibly for those who have yet to link Discover. I got message saying I am not eligible.

Same here. The AMEX one works, but not the discover one.

Don’t forget to use a shopping portal. Many have cash back on Amazon devices. John 3:16

Or, you can save the other 75% too, by boycotting Alexa for all of the tacky adverts written into the dialogue of TV programs and movies.

Why do people push a boycott just because they do not like something? Getting so old, and pretty much meanlingless anyways.

It ruins television shows to be bombarded with superfluous ads during the actual dialogue of the program. It’s annoying, and so it’s not so much a boycott persay, but just a reason not to go out of my way to buy something that is thrown in my face, at an inappropriate time.

I agree. I love my Alexa. It’s like people still crying about Marriott changes. This is the way the points game goes. Get over it.

I stay at Marriott because I like their standards for cleanliness, and they’ve always provided good service to me, at a fair rate. I cannot speak for others.

If, however, they ever reneged on something, or started hitting me over the head by weaseling their way into the script of tv dramas, that might change.

Think this might be targeted. My account is not eligible.
