The Fine Print
- Customers will receive a discount of $10 off when they (1) add an eligible American Express Card to their Amazon wallet; (2) add a minimum of $10.01 in eligible products to their Amazon cart; (3) apply the promotional code at checkout; and (4) use their eligible American Express Card at checkout. The promotion will expire upon Customer’s use of the promotional code.
Our Verdict
Nice and easy savings. This deal is only available to some people, possibly to someone who does not have an Amex card in their Amazon account or someone who recently added an Amex card. Reader Jack was able to remove his Amex cards and get the deal when re-adding them a few months later.

Hi, can anyone tell me a fix for this scenario? I used DOC link to get an offer for 10% off an Amazon order, with a max of $10 off. I activated link, had over $100 of goods in cart, used a point from my Amex and when I went to checkout, my Amex point was used but for no $10 off. All products were both sold and shipped by Amazon! I tried numerous times. Please help. Thx!!
My SO’s account was eligible, but mine wasn’t. I had one of our Amex cards in my Amazon account (probably from last time I did this) and she didn’t. I now removed the Amex from my account and it still says I’m not eligible. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time to be eligible again?

Offer seems to have died early. I had it and never used it, but all gone.
It worked. I have Blue Cash Everyday. Adding it thru payment settings didn’t work. So I clicked on the offer link. It took me to Amazon page to connect my Amex. Then I added some items to my cart. Some items don’t work, whereas others sold and shipped by Amazon do. Applied code, order above
$15. $15 taken off. Order placed.
Worked with removing all Amex cards first. I’ve had one Amex card linked and was used as the primary card on Amazon. I removed it since I just got their Prime Store card and found out I’m eligible for this offer.
Did you have to wait after removing the amex before you were eligible?
Unlike last time this promo came up, I had to actually pay with an Amex (not specifically the newly added one) to get the $15 credit to apply. Trying to pay the remainder with my gift card balance removed the $15 credit.
Worked great! Easy way to save $15 (plus tax).
I’m never eligible for any of these amazon promos.
It only seems to be eligible with annual fee cards. The amex blue doesn’t work.
Worked with Blue Cash and Everyday – no fee on either.
I tried with both those cards, neither worked for me.
