Amazon has announced a number of new products today (our affiliate link here and below). The new products are available for pre-order now and are priced as follows:

- Amazon Echo Studio: $199.99 will be released on November 7th
- Amazon Echo Show 8: $129.99 will be released on November 21st
- Amazon Echo Frames: $179.99 (this is an introductory price, will be $249.99). Requires an invitation
- Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen: $59.99 (buy two and save $20 with promo code DOT2PACK) will be released on October 16th
- Amazon Echo Glow: $29.99 will be released on November 20th
- Amazon Echo Loop: $129.99 (this is an introductory price, will increase to $179.99). Requires an invitation
- Ring Indoor Cam: $59.99
The most interesting items in my opinion are the frames and the ring, both of which require an invitation to order. Wearable tech like this is the future, but so far nobody has really been able to perfect it. I don’t think these solutions from Amazon are the answer either, but it will be interesting to see if they gain traction or not. I do like the Echo Dot with the time on it, this will most likely replace my current clock whenever that dies. That being said paying for an echo dot seems silly as they are so frequently given away for free. All in all I wouldn’t recommend paying list price for any of these items as they will almost certainly go on sale before black friday/Christmas sales kick in.
