The price I see is $892 & $989 (for XL) which don’t make sense at all.

If someone gave me a pixel 4 for free, i’d sell it and keep using my Pixel 1. the value of flagship phones has been downhill imo since 2016 across all brands, apple, samsung, and google, once again IMO.

Although Google updated the OG Pixel to Android 10.0.0 last fall, they no longer support it with security updates – last one was Dec 2019.

Pixel 4 has been a dud for Google, so I expect more discounts in the future. Perhaps Verizon will offer an unlocked version for half the initial launch price in a few months. I got four Pixel 3XLs for $399 each for my family back in August last year.

Surely there were some restrictions attached to the sale of those Pixel 3XLs at that price. But yes, a great price for a flagship phone.

I read a lot of reviews before getting my latest phone and ended up getting the Samsung S10 instead of the Pixel. Many were complaining about build quality saying the Pixel just wasn’t build like you’d expect in a phone of this cost.
