surprised DoC you haven’t been posting regarding the confusion/chaos on these convoluted, poorly worded, inconsistently executed Amazon cash bounceback giftcard deals…. (see gcgalore)
when does credit arrive?
Just got an email with mine, about 24 hours after my purchase.
I had to add the specific promo-enabled Apple giftcard. Adding a giftcard from before the promo time does not allow the promo code to be applied. Managed to get the deal!
DELETE: Seeing at checkout: “The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.”
I got the same “The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.”, but then noticed there was a separate box on the screen that said “Congratulations, your purchase qualifies you for an Amazon.com credit. A one-time $5.00 promotional credit will be automatically applied to your account and emailed to you within three (3) days after shipping.”
I am not going to order anything with an Amazon credit.
I bought a $50 Happy Best Mom Ever card.
I was credit with $7.50
Unfortunately, I have only until November 5, 2021 to use.
