Our Verdict
These are popular gifting items. The noise cancellation version is a great deal at $139 and it’s the lowest price we’ve seen. Even better if you can stack this with a Shop With Points deal for further savings. If you don’t need the noise cancellation, you can save $20 with the other model.
For these one day 1 from Apple and ended up returning. The old AirPods Gen 1/2 fit me perfectly so I was really looking forward to these with ANC. Unfortunately they’ve become much “rounder” and more substantial and become very uncomfortable and kept falling out during workout for me. If the original ones were too small for you, these would prob be great.
On a related note, if you have Doordash’s DashPass, there is also a nice deal on Airpod gen 4’s without noise cancellation delivered from Staples that might still be available:
The total cost for me came out to about $70 after applying taxes, fees, and all discounts. I am using a trial DashPass memberships so I didn’t factor the cost of that in.
Cool strategy price wise but you get no insurance this way when compared to buying in store with credit card.

Costco also has them for the same price. The web page shows $164.99 but when you add to cart it changes to $138.99.
But you add the Costco membership cost and suddenly its $200.
