Amazon WD External HD Orders Cancelled – $20 Giftcards For Some

Earlier this week we posted a deal for WD 10TB My Book Desktop External Hard Drive $80. Unfortunately it looks like those orders have now all been cancelled unfortunately and Amazon is stating that it’s a price mistake. Some readers have received cancellation e-mails with a $20 credit. Lots of other people are reporting no e-mail or credit. It’s not clear if eventually everybody will receive the e-mail/credit or not and if everybody isn’t receiving the credit why some are and others aren’t. eSure it would have been nice to get the item, but I think a $20 credit is more than fair.
