Our Verdict
Existing users can convert 15,000 points into 3 $5 rewards and then use those rewards to renew their membership. They offered a similar deal in September last year as well.
Did this in December, but because it takes them 48 hours (according to the email) to activate the reward, I used a reward in my account to save some money. Since their system apparently saw that reward as my $5, it never worked. Then spent half an hour or so in chat to get my $5. Eventually got it, but not sure that 30 minutes of pain was worth it in the end…
The last good movie I saw was “Farenheit 11/9” at AMC. A documentary by comdian Michael Moore a few months ago. Worth seeing! Great movie! Worth buying DVD! I saw it at Bay Plaza AMC. Movie Trailer: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bl1VhKUs2jE

FYI: Activated $15 in rewards and they did not use them, they charged my gift card instead.
Counter DP, I activated $15 in rewards and they did use the promotional credits. I did it on desktop.
I don’t see anything about getting my 6,000 points though.
So did I. I even waited until they said the rewards were available. I’m on chat now to figure out how to unactivate the rewards if they can’t reverse it.
They almost never deactivate the rewards. I had mine converted at some theater I’ve never been to, they confirmed it was fraud, and while they gave back the points used, whoever did the conversion converted but didn’t use all the points. they basically said “too bad so sad, spend them before the $ rewards expire, bye”
Some guy activated all my rewards at the theater and there was no way to undo it. I was pissed.
They really f’d up my account. Now I’m stuck with $20 in rewards that I have to use because they were activated.

True, but now I am forced to use them. And I lost the $5 in bonus bucks when they “tried” to refund my membership. Not the sharpest tool in the shed on my chat 🙂
