Closing comments again because people aren’t following the rules. When selecting a reader’s referral link, make sure they only post their link once and try to find somebody you recognize as making useful comments.
Update 1/2/19: This deal is set to expire on 1/9/19, I’ve reopened comments so readers can share referrals again. If you’ve already left a referral, please do not leave another one.
Please read the rules, below, before leaving a referral!!
The new American Express Gold card is now available with a 50,000 points bonus + 20% back on restaurant purchases (up to $100) via incognito or via referral.
Direct Link to offer (open incognito)
- Signup for the American Express Gold card and earn 50,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $2,000 on eligible purchases with your new card within the first 3 months of Card Membership.
American Express rebranded their Premier Rewards Gold card to become the American Express Gold card with 4x points at restaurants and grocery stores. The two downers of the new card are the increased annual fee of $250 which is not waived the first year, and second, we didn’t have any links for the 50,000 signup bonus which used to be periodically through various methods.
Luckily, the 50,000 points offer is now showing incognito. Additionally, referrals are already showing the new card, and there it’s showing a 50,000 points signup offer.
All three signup offers (the regular one, the incognito one, and the referral one) are showing an end-date of January 9, 2019. Read our review on the card in our post earlier today, and see these Things to Know before apply for an American Express Card.Â
Leave your Referral
Feel free to leave your referrals in the comments of this post. We’ll disable commenting after a few days, as per our new referral policy. Please leave any comments about the card on our initial post – we’ll update that page with information of the increased bonus as well.
Please use a reader’s referral instead of using the incognito approach. Consider also taking a moment to look through the reader’s comment history to find someone who has been helpful in the past (click the “i” next to the commenter’s name to see their history).
Rules: Leave a comment with your referral link only. No “thanks”, Twitter handle, information about the bonus, or anything else, and don’t alter the link. Do not leave your comment as a reply to a different comment. Comments not conforming will be removed. If you’ve waited a day and still don’t see your referral show up, try going incognito and leaving it again.
If you use someone’s link, leave a reply to the comment and let them know!
