American Express has sent out a survey regarding possible changes to the Business gold card. These types of surveys are frequent and often we don’t see any changes, but they are at least a good indication that changes are being considered and what type of changes they are likely to be. Some interesting changes:
- $495 annual fee (currently $375)
- $300 ChatGPT business credit
- 24K Gold Plated card after you spend $100,000+ in a calendar year
- Earn up to 50,000 Membership Rewards points when you pay your Business Gold card from your Amex business checking account (1x point per $1 spent)
Each survey had slightly different variations as well so it’s hard to draw too many conclusions.
