American Express Issue Causing Credit Card Applications To Be Delayed 3-5 Days

Currently American Express is having an issue with it’s internal review process (e.g when you’re not instantly approved), when reddit user Mantis_Toboggan_PCP called the application status line they were told all applications are being delayed due to this issue and results will be sent out in 3-5 days.
