Currently American Express is having an issue with it’s internal review process (e.g when you’re not instantly approved), when reddit user Mantis_Toboggan_PCP called the application status line they were told all applications are being delayed due to this issue and results will be sent out in 3-5 days.

AMEX is dropping the ball on everything right now. My DL Amex statement closed last week and I still don’t have my miles and my MQM status boost meter has been stuck for over 1.5 months. My Google Fi charge posted over 2 weeks ago and still no wireless credit on my Plat. I also got an extra $5 credit from the Shop Small promo which I’m sure they’ll claw back sometime in the next 6 months to 5 years. Goddamn clowns lol.
And when you press them to fix any of these issues they respond with “please wait 6-8 weeks hehe”.
Thats weird. Most of my credits post within 2 days. If you really didn’t abuse the Shop Small promo and used it for what it was really intended then they shouldn’t claw back…

I have an Amex offer that I used and it shows up under ‘Savings’, but it’s been a week now and they still haven’t actually applied the credit to my account. Not sure if that’s related.
