American Express is offering some cardholders a bonus for adding up to four authorized user when using the chat feature on the site. We’ve seen these authorized user bonuses before and even phone & chat offers but I haven’t seen in it such an official capacity as this before. It’s also worth noting that American Express authorized user accounts do count towards your Chase 5/24 status. Being an authorized user on a card does not prevent you from getting the sign up bonus on that card in the future.
