Our Verdict

Great offer for Ritz stays and widely available in the login and via Twitter.

To make it easier to use, you can try buying Ritz/Marriott gift cards at the front desk. If this works, it’s huge since Ritz gift cards can be used at all Marriott locations worldwide which makes this offer much broader. It also makes it easier to lock in for the future.

While in previous, similar offers it’s always worked when buying gift cards at the front desk of the hotel, keep in mind a few things:

  • It might not work this time. Please let us know if you try.
  • Even if it is working, if something goes wrong with the credit posting, you won’t be able to follow up and get it manually credited.
  • Front desks don’t always carry gift cards or the reps there don’t know where to find them. If you get the right rep, I’ve had experience at many Marriott hotels that do carry Marriott gift cards, and I assume Ritz would be the same.
