[Expired] Amex Offers: $25 off $75 at Boxed.com + $20 Off For New Customers + $15 Off For Existing Users On Liquor [Targeted]

Deal has expired, view more Boxed deals here or more AmEx offers here.

Also worth checking Ibotta to see if they are offering you a further 15% back!

Update 10/22/18: Existing users can get $15 off $100+ on liquor purchases when they use promo code: HALLOWEEN15. Available in CA, MA, NY, NJ and AZ.

Update 10/22/18: New customers can get $20 off $100+ when they use promo code OCTOBER20. If you add $100 in items you’d pay $80, triggering the American Express offer for a further $25 back. Effectively paying $55 for $100 in items.

The Offer

Check your American Express login for the following targeted offer:

  • Get a $25 statement credit when spending $75+ online at Boxed.com.

The Fine Print

  • $75 can be spent in a single transactions or split across multiple transactions.
  • Valid through 11/3/18.
  • Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem.
  • Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels.
  • Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card.
  • Offer valid at Boxed.com/business, Boxed.com/express, Boxed.com or on the Boxed mobile app. Excludes Boxed Hotels (hotels.boxed.com) and wine and spirits.

Our Verdict

Amex also has an offer on their business cards to get 10% off on Boxed.com purchases. I assume you won’t find both of these offers on the same card (if you do, they should stack).

Boxed frequently runs various promotions, including signup offers and other promotions which can stack with the Amex Offers. Also remember to shop through a portal for your Boxed purchases.

Is it still possible to add them on multiple cards via multi tabs or it’s over as per last weeks news?

As I mentioned in another thread, I successfully added the same offer to two cards using different devices yesterday. If you want details, click on the “i” next to my name to see a list of my posts.

Unfortunately, I’m not targeted for this Boxed offer. Past Boxed offers have been quite lucrative.

Nice. Ty.

Yesterday I tried to do it on my laptop and phone app at the same time, the result is no go.
However, my additional card with different name still works.

This is the second offer since 8/1 I’ve been able to add to two cards with the same name (separate log ins). I opened one in the app and one in IE. I had other browsers open for the other cards under this name but all got the “Sorry! This offer has already been added to another card”. I’ve logged out and logged back in and both offers are still saved

No offers on 11 cards, but I did learn something. Since some of my cards had over 100 offers (one had 156) I couldn’t see them all, so I started adding some just to see if this offer was there. Of course, with the new system, these offers were being removed from my other cards. Nice to know I can go to a card I don’t use and select all the useless offers and get rid of them from cards I do use.

That’s what I do as well. I have an AU card for an old Simply Cash card that I add all the junky offers to and that clears them out from the other cards that I’ll actually use.

It’s kind of nice to log in and check offers and only have to look through six or seven, instead of 112. 😀

In the future can you write the word “UPDATE” before the title of the thread? I started reading the comments before realizing they were all from August from an earlier offer.

I realize you wrote “Update” below the title but seeing it in the beginning of the title also would be better.

Pag
Pag

You can sort the comments by ‘newest’. @DoC what do you think about making newest comments show up first, the default?

Eric
Eric

You missed my point. My point was that I was under the impression this was a brand-new post meaning there would be no need for that. If “UPDATED” was put in the title I would have done what you said (I already knew about that feature).

William Charles

I don’t want newest by default because then people ask questions that have already been answered.

Pag
Pag

got it, thanks!

William Charles

We sometimes do this, but in this case it’s basically a completely new deal with the two stacks plus the title is already very long. First sentence is literally that it’s an update so shouldn’t really be an issue re: reading comments IMO.

Eric
Eric

99% of the time I read the article before the comments. Of course this happened the one time I read the comments first. I wanted to see if most people got the Boxed offer before trying myself.

What also threw me off was that it shows yesterday’s date on the top. Does it automatically reset the date whenever you update a post or do you choose to do that?

William Charles

Yes it resets the date when we repost

FYI, … did the 10% off AMEX offer a couple of months back and the credit still hasn’t posted. I know the T&Cs say it can take up to 90 days, but we all know that they usually post much faster.

I wondered the same thing on why mine didn’t post but realized that I have a regular boxed account and not boxed business, which is what the offer is for.
