Our Verdict
I found this offer on SPG business card (and AU SPG business cards), and it’s likely only showing on business cards. There is a recent offer at Lowe’s which is showing mostly on business cards, yet a few people found it on personal cards, so it might be worth checking personal cards for this offer too.
This offer is easy to maximize: buy a $100 Visa gift card which comes with a $5.95 fee and net $14 (even better if you got this offer on the SimplyCash card which earns 5% at office supply stores). Alternatively, buy $100 third-party gift card to Amazon, gas, restaurant, or wherever, and lock in the 20% discount.
If you’re buying ordinary merchandise at Office Depot/Max, link your card with Ebates in-store cash back for an extra 3% cash back. Gift cards are excluded, but it’s a neat way to earn an extra 3% on ordinary purchase. (My Ebates referral link for new signups.)
