#AmexNewegg $25 Off $200, Lock in Savings Anywhere with Gift Card Purchases

The Offer

Direct Link

  • Spend $200 or more at Newegg.com with your registered Amex card and get a $25 statement credit.

You can save this offer on your card by tweeting #AmexNewegg from a connected Twitter account or you can try to find it in your Amex login and save it that way.

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 12/31/16
  • You can make multiple small purchases which combine to $200
  • Offer only valid online at newegg.com and flash.newegg.com
  • Offer not valid on purchases made at neweggbusiness.com

Our Verdict

You can buy a wide variety of products from Newegg, but what make this offer amazing is the fact that Newegg sells lots of gift cards as well. You can buy $100 Visa gift cards for $109 shipped (which isn’t really an amazing deal) or you can buy eBay, Kohl’s, Kmart, many travel gift cards and many other options.

I’d recommend doing this one fast as I’m not sure historically if Newegg offers last or if they fill up quickly. You’ll figure out what to buy afterward. The same offer was offered last year, you can read about that here. Here are 14 Things to Know about Amex Offer Deals.

I don’t know how it worked for you to put the free one way at the end.
for example, i can book:
JFK-VIE
SIN-HKG
VIE-JFK
for the same price as JFK-VIE RT, 220k in F

but when I try to book
JFK-VIE
VIE-JFK
SIN-HKG

the price goes up to 245k in F…

how did you do it?

Hey Doc,

I have 4 Amex’s (no AU’s). I saw newegg and bb offers on 2 of the 4 (PRG and Everyday).

I then made the mistake of doing my first ever #offer tweets on twitter, on my twitter account that is linked to one of my 4 cards (simply cash) that did not originally have the offer.

After tweeting I got the offer on the Simply Cash, but I saw the offer had dissapeared from PRG and E’reday card.

Is there any way for me to get the offer on my other 3 or has my opportunity sailed into the abyss?

Doesn’t seem like any really great angles here. Best I could come up with is buy Kmart and convert to Amazon if thats your thing or VGC for a 7%+cc points profit.

This would be good if purchase of giftcards on newegg would track on airline portals.

That used to work, for sure. Hopefully still does.

Any clue if UA/AA portals work? Would be nice to double/triple dip with the airline portal + airline portal Xmas bonuses.

Yeah, looks like portals are working (despite terms).

Use Newegg to meet all the holiday portal bonus threshold requirements.

I did a purchase of two cards for $200 total, using a linked Amex. Cards have been e-delivered. But no “congrats” confirmation email.

Anyone else have this problem?

I got the congrats email within a couple minutes of order of e-gc. They do miss sometimes though, so if you are sure it’s saved I wouldn’t worry.

I ordered a Hyatt eGC and it took a little over two days for the credit to appear, but it did eventually on Nov 3rd. Without any intervention from me. No congrats email or notification from the app at all. Still it did work. I’ll probably do it again for my next stay.

Did you get/try the AmexOffer of $60 off a minimum $200 purchase at Hyatt by buying a $200 gift card?

When chose eBay gift card it says limit 2 per customer.
Does it mean 2 eBay gift cards each transaction or 2 gift cards limit per day or life time?

Newegg per-customer-limits are based on rolling 48-hour period.
