Our Verdict
I don’t recall ever noticing this card before, doesn’t look too interesting for ongoing use, just a no-frills, basic business card.
According to my WayBack research, it looks like the card typically has no bonus at all, I guess the 0% APR is the signup perk of the card. Yet according to our (somewhat dated) signup bonus spreadsheet, there has been offers of a $200 bonus. Regardless, $300 is certainly a new high, and seems to be a decent bonus for a no-fee business card.
Check out these Things to Know about Bank of America Credit Cards before applying. Last I know, business cards probably don’t count toward/against the 2/3/4 rule. Other Bank of America signup bonuses available:
- $300 or $350 on the Bank of America Business Advantage Cash Rewards Mastercard
- $200 bonus on the Bank of America Cash Rewards Personal Card

I guess to add to your point about this one’s history, my own personal history with this card:
I went for the $500 business “checking” offer back in July of last year. I applied for the Business Cash Rewards credit card along with that, which had a $200 after $500 spend bonus.
I noted from your site that BoA combines hard pulls, and the Business Platinum had a public $200 after $500 spend bonus, as well. So I applied for it, too, and got approved and got both bonuses with only one hard pull.
Approved this week (applied with SSN#) – the welcome e-mail I got said “Congratulations. You’ve been approved for a Business Advantage Credit Card.” So I’m not sure if I have the Business Platinum or Business Advantage – either way it looks like there’s a $300 SUB for $3K spend and NAF, so I should be good.
Got this. Dont have any of this stuff…

Did you apply using your SSN?
Yes
I don’t see an expiration date on the terms and conditions, is this info available anywhere?
Pretty much the same routine as applying for a Chase card with a “business”?
Does this count toward 5/24?
No. They dont report business cards.
Thanks was asking cause cap1 reports buss cards along w couple others.
I used to always get denied by BoA until I stopped applying but recently I got a mailer for the cash rewards card, so maybe I’m somewhat “okay” for them now? Tempted.
Went pending, but the check status page says I don’t exist.
Same here. I called them and they said my application was approved 🙂 866-695-6598
Business cards don’t show up on their app status page will get an email or can always call them as well.
Update: applied for this card and also the $350 bonus business card to merge inquiries. Called about that card today, agent reviewed the app, asked a few questions, and approved. Haven’t decided whether or not I want to call about this card yet, since 6k in 3 months is a bit difficult.
It’s the other boa business card.
I was auto denied from a personal mailer.
Does this count towards Chase 5/24 rule? using personal social security # as tax id
No. They dont report business cards.
If only they weren’t so sensitive to inquiries/accounts…
yeah…i ran $20K through one of their cards, applied for the “premier” travel card (which really isn’t premier compared to the other banks)….DENIED. i’m an 820 credit score too. sheesh. moved my spending to other banks.
Is it possible you ran into their 2/3/4 rule? I had around $100/month (if even that) spending on their cash rewards card and FICO was nowhere near 820 but I was approved.
They aren’t sensitive at all if you have checking and savings with them
Can confirm, am close to 30/24 and was approved for Premium Rewards, Alaska Biz, & Cash Rewards Biz after 1 month of having a checking account open.
