The Fine Print
- The free night voucher will expire 60 days after fulfillment. Expiration date will be stated on the free night voucher.
- The free night voucher will be sent electronically to the Member’s email address (regardless of whether the Member has opted out of Best Western communications). Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks from completion of the eligible stay to receive the free night voucher.
- Best Western Rewards members, who reside in the United States, Canada or the Caribbean Islands, can stay at any Best Western branded hotel worldwide. Best Western Rewards members, who reside outside of the United States, Canada or the Caribbean Islands, must complete their stay(s) at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada or the Caribbean Islands.

Our Verdict
Looks like because you reside in United States a stay at any Best Western property worlwide will work. The certificate can only be used at a property in United States, Canada or Caribbean. This is a bit of a bummer as the better properties are usually found in Europe, but still worth registering for.

Just a heads up, went online to book a stay but saw I didn’t have the voucher. Called & they said my voucher expired months ago after the 60 day mark but they also said they had email issues and many people reported not receiving vouchers. They ended up booking a 24,000 point room for me for free and sent me a new voucher to use.
They need to clarify Best Western branded. Only Best Westerns or do Sure Stays count? Sure Stays are basically unrenovated hotels that just hold to a level of customer service rather than meet BW’s current brand standard. A lot of them are old America’s Best Values, Knights Inn, or other low end brands, but would be a great deal if they qualify.
