Bj’s had crazy long lines just to enter this weekend. Look at the store before you give them one cent.
The previous time they has no staff. I asked someone where are the employees? I was told all the employees QUIT because of Corona Viruses.

When I was in high school, they happened to open a new store near my house. Before they opened, I saw one of my friends in their vests in the parking lot. He told me he just started working there and they should be opening in a week. I said “Oh great, my Mom loves BJs”
A few years ago, they were at a street fair near me informing people that they would be opening in a month, and selling memberships. They opened over a year later when, if you bought a membership a year earlier, it was expired. And their customer service is worst than horrible. Their cashiers are just as incompetent as I would be if they told me today to go over there and go behind a checkout and be a cashier, and I have never worked in retail ever. They take advantage that you have no better choice in the area, as Costco, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods only open in certain neighborhoods for certain types of people.

I did not get notification of the discounted membership. I am a Sr. Citizen and appreciate not having to pay full price. It has been helpful in the past. Just saw coupon and expiration date. Are there any upcoming offers such as this.

No…the fine print states that this is for New Members Only.
Sometimes if you go to customer service and show them the deal, they will match it for the membership.
The BJ by me has been losing members left and right to Costco and Sam’s Club for the past decade. It offers same-day delivery through Instacart but has no gas station.
I’m tempted by these club membership offers but it’s hard to justify pulling the trigger when Costco’s shadow looms so large.
The bjs by me has no gas and the customer service is terrible , checkout takes forever and cost more per item then Costco . Not worth the hassle
Sounds like BJ needs to be bailed out by the government of free market capitalists.
The fed should buy its junk bonds. The worse a company the more support a company should be given like in capitalism.
