BMO has added a feature for users with an account that let’s them check if you are pre-approved for credit cards. You need to be logged into your account and provide employment status, income, and housing payment. No credit check is done until you accept your offer.
Most pre-approval tools don’t really guarantee approval, I suspect that this is still the case with BMO but given the amount of data requested beforehand it should result in higher % approvals than other pre-approved credit card checkers.
