CDC Updates Mask Guidance For Those Fully Vaccinated (Wear Indoors)

CDC has updated it’s mask guidance for those that are fully vaccinated. They now recommend that you wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Counties in the United States are broken down five different transmission risks (high, substantial, moderate, low & no data), you can view that map here. CDC also states that this guidance is most important for the elderly, those with a weak immune system or if you are at an increased risk for severe disease. CDC had previously relaxed these guidelines in April.

I work as frontline HCP. Most of the patients coming sick to ER are those who decided not to be vaccinated. One is critical and in tears, praying he lives to get vaccinated. Covid is not a Hoax, Delta variant is much more lethal BUT vaccines work in reducing severity of illness/hospitalizations/deaths. Just a reminder for all to get vaccinated.

Thanks for sharing this DoC! I hope you know it helps, despite the comments full of the ignorant who don’t understand what vaccines are (which is why Webster wrote a dictionary…so that every person could know the definition of a term) or that they don’t provide immunity (and have never in history ever done so other than in the waning years of propagation via so-called “herd immunity”). Since even our current President apparently doesn’t understand the difference between something that modifies the immune system and something that makes one immune, it is difficult to expect the average citizen to understand an English word can have different definitions or that when used as different parts of speech doesn’t carry the same meaning (because of course the President always represents the very best of us as a nation).

I wish the remaining 2/3 of people in my state would somehow come to understand that the vaccines are necessary to save the lives we are losing right now, lives that false information propagators are abetting the merciless slaughter thereof with the power of their words; words which they are seemingly emboldened to spread at every new shred of evidence that they are sharing harmful gossip so as to muffle their conscience. The many who are immunodeficient have to rely on complete strangers doing the right thing to protect them as well, since we either cannot have any or cannot receive full benefit from such vaccines.

It’s amazing how many people boast they would take a bullet for their country or die for our freedoms, but yet will not lift even a sleeve to assure Americans’ right to live…though they are quick to lift one side of a lip in a sneer of disdain for any truth that challenges their omniscient perspective. It’s also amazing how many people cite the Bible in a bogus faith-based attempt to claim wearing masks hide the face of God and as such infringes on their freedom of religion, yet then have never read Leviticus 13: 45-46 as to when and how they are instructed explicitly to do so by said Word of God. Fact is apparently one convenience we have most skillfully dispensed with in the present era of “alternative facts” and enlightened relativity.
