Chase Bonuses: 200k Chase Sapphire Reserve Business, 100k + $500 Chase Sapphire Reserve Personal

There are ‘hacked’ links showing the new Chase Sapphire Reserve Business & Chase Sapphire Reserve Personal bonuses. Real links will go live in 24 hours or so, so I’d recommend waiting for those but we do know what the sign up bonuses on these cards will be:

  • Personal card: Earn 100,000 bonus points* plus a $500 Chase Travel promo credit after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. The $500 credit is one time use per terms “The promotional credit is valid for a one-time use only, if you apply the promotional credit to a transaction less than $500, you will forfeit the remaining balance. If a portion of your purchase is cancelled due to an issue with the service provider, you will receive a new promotional credit for the amount cancelled.”
  • Business card: Earn 200,000 bonus points after you spend $30,000 on purchases in your first 6 months from account opening

Our Verdict

Give how much Chase hyped up these bonuses I find them to be a bit underwhelming. The spend requirement on the business card is high, especially when it’s not easy to manufacture spend with no 5x office supply category. Personal bonus is good, but a flat 200k points would have been much more exciting.

I currently have a CSP Open that has a four-year anniversary in September 2025. Planning to close the CSP now and open the CSR. I am under 5/24 FYI. But looks like whoever had gotten the CSR bonus ever will not be eligible for CSR bonus going forward.

Text for the interested

“This credit card is unavailable to you if you currently have one open. The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you currently have any other personal Sapphire cards open, previously held this card or received a new cardmember bonus for this card. We may also consider the number of cards you have opened and closed, as well as other factors in determining your bonus eligibility.”

Yikes. For $800 annual fee, they are making a lot of hoop jumping without a lot of direct value. I’d be way more excited about 200k bonus with $10k or even $15k of spend on the personal.

Feeling pretty good about my PC from CSP to CSR.

Why? If you were under 5/24 it would make more sense to still apply for the CSR than upgrading. Unless you’re really trying to not increase your number of cards.

Just did this – we’ll see if they accept my household points transfer and let me redeem with the 1.5 multiplier….

I prefer my 100k UR + 30k MR CSP bonus to this new CSR offer.

Rakuten had a short lived rebate if you signed up for a CSP thru them. Rebate was 30k MR.

$2,875 for $30k spend on a biz card. For those with high / unlim spend, seems like a win. Competive to Cap1’s junk, minus the 3 pulls and personal report. I’m down.

A day before the official launch of the first Sapphire Reserve in 2016 there was also a hidden link that offered 100k bonus points and approved people over 5/24.

If something leaks again, I wonder if it bypasses the 48 month rule (or if we’ll get a notification about ineligibility)

Newbie here. What is travel credit? Is it only applicable to airline tickets?

Newbie or not. Wait until tomorrow lol. Nobody know until Chase puts out the actual website. This is mostly a rumor for now.

If true, the SUB is basically the same as when the card was originally introduced in 2016.
