Reader Betelgeuse noticed that it’s no longer possible to generate referral links on Chase business cards like the INK Preferred or Cash. Various error messages pop up. I’m seeing the same on my cards.
Additionally, you can no longer refer TO a Chase Freedom card (though Chase Freedom cardholders can generate a referral link to refer to the Freedom Unlimited card). And non-Preferred Sapphire cardholders apparently can’t generate links from their card either.

Existing referrals links that you’ve previously generated do continue to work, though that might die at some point.
The only cards showing right now for referrals are: Freedom Unlimited, Sapphire Preferred, Southwest cards, United Explorer, British Airways, Marriott Bonvoy, World of Hyatt, IHG, Disney. (Southwest is working even for the business Southwest version.)
This is all in line with what Chase has done recently requiring login to apply for a Chase business card and removing business cards from affiliate channels and making it harder, generally, to get approved for a business card.
