I have had a difficult time getting this promotion honored by Chase. I registered for the promotion when it came up (end of October). I had a $400+ charge at a Joie de Vivre hotel post in December, after I had registered for the promo. It has been more than 8 weeks (T&C time to wait for credit) and now Chase and Hyatt are pointing fingers at one another about who is responsible for getting me the bonus. Chase saying they didn’t get the necessary info from Hyatt, Hyatt saying this is a statement credit, that is a Chase thing. So fun!

I had the exact same experience where Chase is refusing to verify the spend, and tells me to reach out to Hyatt and I don’t see how Hyatt will have the ability to issue a “statement credit” on a card issued by Chase.

If I had spent $250+ at a Hyatt on 11/13, but didn’t register for the promo until 11/16 should I still get the credit?

this doesn’t have to be in one single purchase, right?

Will this offer stack with the Bonus journey’s promo for stays before Jan 4?

I’ve found only one Hyatt House location out of probably 15+ Hyatt branded locations that sell physical GC. I’d be surprised if you find an Independent collection property that sells GC.

While it may work in practice, the t&c do specifically say:

“Offer not valid for gift card purchases or purchases made online or through third-parties.”

So I would be prepared for that to not trigger.

What’s the chances this stacks with the Chase Offer for 10% off when spending >$100 (max of $25 back)… if it were amex it’d prolly get clawed back.

I was initially going to say that I don’t see why it wouldn’t stack but upon further review, the bottom of the terms for the 10% offer appears to list out pretty much every Hyatt brand EXCEPT Destination Hotels, Joie de Vivre, and Unbound collection hotels… However at the top of the offer it says at ANY domestic Hyatt property so I’m really not sure if it will stack or not 🙁 If it did then stacking with this offer almost makes it a no brainer for me
