Chase Offers Flash Deals: 20% Back at Walgreens, Exxon, BedBath&Beyond, McDonald’s

Update: Worth checking these regularly as they seem to be refreshed frequently.

The Offer

Chase Offers has a number of ‘flash deals’ that only last for a few days. Get 20% cash back at:

  • Bed Bath & Beyond, up to $14 back
  • Exxon, up to $10 back
  • Walgreen’s, up to $8 back
  • McDonald’s, up to $4 back

Our Verdict

This is a new type of deal that only lasts a few days. The Walgreen’s could be interesting for buying gift cards, and the Exxon makes it a good time for a fillup. Thanks to all those who sent this in.

I have some of the offer credits posted (Walgreens) while some haven’t posted yet (McDonalds).

It’s been more than 2 weeks now!
Is it time to contact Chase or wait for a few more days ?
Has Chase Secure message team been able to resolve anyone’s missing credit issues ?

My Walgreens credit never posted. After speaking to two supervisors, the latest info is I need to wait 2 weeks for the marketing department to research the failure to post. This is my first time with a Chase Offer credit not posting properly. I wonder if the short time frame is to blame as for some reason my in-store Walgreens purchase did not show up in my account under my transactions until over a week later, even though the actual charge date is correctly stated.

My Walgreens credit is finally showing under the “redeemed” tab in my account as of 11/22. I appreciate the efforts of the Chase customer service team to resolve my missing credit concerns on this Chase Offer.

I have all the flash deals on on Freedoms and Flex. Freedoms redeemed without any trouble. Redeemed Walgreens on Flex without any trouble. But my Exxon, MC, BBB transactions on the Flex simply disappeared. I’m used to transactions disappearing for an overnight with Chase just before they post but these never showed up again. I’ve even received my cc statement and they’re not on there. Thanks Chase!

Would love for these Chase Offers “Flash Deals” to become a recurring thing. Chase Offers have been absolutely crushing AmEx Offers recently IMO…

Worked on one of my cards with no issues for Exxon, Walgreens and BBB. The second one I didn’t even get charged for the txn. and don’t know why for Exxon and Walgreens. BBB – charged for both and says offer redeemed. Chase in general has been nice with these and I also get my prompt emails on the credit.

Bought gift cards at all places and credit posted in a few days. Hope Chase comes up with this very often.

My Walgreens and Exxon offers posted about 6 days after usage, very slow, and no emails whether they worked or not. I would have done them on more cards (I was targetted on more) if I had some faith in how they would code up. The gas station in particular looks different on the authorzation versus the posting description.

In any case, thanks Chase!

I contribute to a Flexible Spending Account through work….the walgreens 20% pairs well for me. I buy my FSA approved stuff, turn in the receipts, get my non-taxed money back + 20% off when the statement rolls around.

I did this twice last week to get back $16…

Where do we check list of items that are FSA approved ?

The eligible product on walgreens site has a FSA tag under it.

Is there a special link to get these flash offers or just along with the regular offers?

Some of the offers such as McDonald’s flash deal coincided with regular chase McD offer. Has anyone received credit for both ?

Nope. The flash deal was redeemed but the regular offer stayed, and I redeemed it in a later transaction.

Queue_Underflow thanks for your reply.

I was hoping both would trigger as I don’t see any reason it won’t but at least in your case you got the better deal.

Oddly in my case it happened the other way around.
Got the smaller credit for regular offer while the same merchant’s flash offer progressed into expired bucket. This is nonsense!

That’s pretty crazy, I would give it another week and then send a message.

No link — just shows up in your regular Chase Offers section if you’re targeted
