Our Verdict
Some Chase cards are seeing the $10 off or $5 off, and there does not appear to be any minimum spend requirement. Other Chase and Bank of America cards are seeing the 10% back deal. These work well with the free Instacart Express offer from Chase. Check if there are any live Instacart promo codes on this dedicated page.

Credits on both my cards posted today. I never reached out to Chase… had just written it off.
I had this offer on one Chase card and two BOA cards. None of them tracked. Chase declined my inquiry:

Hello X,
Thank you for contacting us about your Chase Freedom
Unlimited® Credit Card ending in X.
X, upon review of the Instacart Chase Offer terms and
conditions, payments must be made directly with the
merchant. Order must be placed through Instacart.com or
the Instacart app. Offer not valid on Instacart Express
membership.
In addition, I show the transaction from INSTACART*ALDI
for $11.42 dated January 13, 2022, was not processed
through Instacart.com or the Instacart app. As a result,
the transaction did not qualify for the statement credit.
We are unable to add the statement credit to the account.
We appreciate you being a Chase customer.

Obviously I did use Instacart.com …
Bummer, had the same issue. Used instacart.com to buy through Costco and Kroger. Had on multiple Chase cards and one on Bank of America. Unfortunately no sign of a credit from Chase yet but Bank of America got credited within a week. Strange!
Yeah Chase did not track my Instacart Costco order. I called in and they said the marketing department would contact me through letter.
No issues with Bank of America Credits though
Same thing with 2 Instacart Coscto orders with Chase. Would be nice to have known if for some reason Costco would not work. I used instacart.com purposefully as well. Let us know what you hear, thanks!!
After contacting Chase again through SM with screenshots the bonus miraculously posted to the account a few days later (not sure if my message had anything to do with that). Now for BOA…
Had this on 3 different chase cards and used on two of them 2 weeks ago but no credit. I have gotten credits for offers used long after these. If I do get this (not holding my breath) – it will be the longest time between transaction and credit.
Same here, it’s been over a week on my end and offer still not moved to redeemed. Makes me concerned.
Been over 2 weeks for me an no credit. I called in and they had to create an escalation ticket to the marketing department as the phone reps don’t see Chase Offers
More than 2 weeks have elapsed from my purchase but no credit yet. Strangely though it never got redeemed but now showing expired??
So never worked paid out – just going to write it off at this point. Not worth calling chase and spending time arguing this
Check your Wells Fargo Deals for a similar offer, mine is $10 off a purchase with no further terms.
I got lots of Instacart offers:
• $10 on Chase Freedom
• $10 on BofA
• P2 got $5 on BofA
• Both of us got 20% boost on Cash App (max $20)
No trigger email after using the Chase Offer this weekend for a pickup order. Chase’s system is sometimes flaky like that (and slow), so I’ll wait 2 weeks before following up with customer service.
Many of my items ended up being out of stock, so the total came to just over $20, minus the $10 coupon from the Chase promo earlier, so final total was just over $10. After the $10 Chase Offer, it’ll be nearly free. Couldn’t have optimized that better myself (given the $35 min order requirement).
It was part of the promo where Chase cardholders were able to get Instacart Express for free until April 30. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-free-instacart-express-until-april-2022-10-off-35/
Update: got trigger email from Chase today
Got $5 offer on Freedom Unlimited,
got $10 offer on both Sapphire Reserve and Original Freedom.
Anybody had luck triggering the credit redemption email with costco on instacart? My charges showed up as “Costco by Instacart” and I specifically made sure to use the instacart app to order rather than using sameday.costco.com or their own app. I did two separate orders across both Chase cards which had this offer and neither of the charges have triggered the redemption email yet even though they’ve both moved from pending to posted
In my experience:
• The trigger emails from Chase (or AMEX for that matter) don’t always come, even when the offer does ultimately work
• Chase consistently takes 2 weeks to credit the offer, with no indication that it worked in the meantime (except for the trigger email, if one was sent)
• When I inquire about an offer too soon after making a purchase, Chase customer service sometimes tells me inaccurate things (such as: “you didn’t enroll in the offer before making the purchase,” and then later the credit comes through, because of course I enrolled in the offer first)
So it might be worth waiting 2 weeks to see if the offer comes through, before trying to reach out to customer service.
same issue here. I’ll wait two weeks and call customer service
same issue for Costco purchase. Are you able to get credit?
did a costco by instacart purchase on 1/17, no credit posted yet at of 1/25.
Usually the credits posts in 4 days for me
I did $12 pickup today. Didn’t get alert yet for deal redemtion. I will wait and see
$10 in Redeemed now
DId you have to pay additional pick up fee?
Mine was at free pick up place (nearby pharmacy)
Mine was at free pick up place (nearby pharmacy)
Doesn’t it require $35 minimum to be delivered?
Almost always, yes. Some stores offer pickup that will not have the requirement.
They have gift cards on their site, but I assume it’s processed by launchgiftcards and not by them directly… anyone ever bought? Is it obviously different than a regular instacart charge?
EDIT: The payments workshop suggests this is the case — it says gift cards don’t code as grocery whereas actual orders do.
Can confirm that it posts as LGC Instacart Gift Card. Bought one last week when they were running the $15 bonus card.
And that did not trigger a credit?
What you mean, credit? I wasn’t trying for any offer other than the bonus card. I was only confirming that it codes as LGC, not as Instacart.
