Does the $5 promo code work on convenience orders? Mine says promo is already added but it doesn’t show up on my checkout page

Instacart is really desperate for growth. I keep getting discount coupons almost every week.

Trying to boost those numbers for IPO. I recall the same thing with Doordash promos burning VC money.

I tried HEALTH20 and here is the message:
“This promotion can’t be redeemed because it has reached its redemption limit.”

Ditto, it actually disappeared from my account – I added it successfully yesterday. Seems like they changed their code – now the promos can disappear even after being added to an account.

Ya. always have to pay attention. I have promo codes disappeared twice already…. Was thinking about using it this weekend as I just went for grocery shopping in person 3 days ago. I really don’t need anything but 20 off 30 is hard to resist. Though it’s more like 10 to 15 off after fees still quite good.

New Instacart post, new wave of people asking what to buy from the store, if they can stack promos (which it clearly says you can’t in the promo code terms), etc.

InstaFart does not rock. It’s awful. The only reason I have ever used it as to get something for free. 5 out of 6 times I’ve used it, my order has been messed up.
Also, just tried the promo and it says too many people have used this promo and it has ended.

I don’t work for Instacart but we have to understand that there are so many products in a supermarket and a lot of them are out of stock due to current supply problem.
Try to watch out for the text messaging when your shopping trips start. I would like to believe that most shoppers are trying to do the best they can and can’t imagine how frustrating it is when they can’t find the items you want.
If there are problems, take it up to Instacart but don’t penalize the shoppers by giving less tip. It is not an easy job!

Definitely this! My shopper texted me alternatives when items I wanted was sold out. I guess stores don’t update their inventory and whatever you add to your cart is just a request for the shopper.

I don’t know which Kroger store the shopper used but I usually find items I need 90% of the time while Instacart shopper reports 50% of the items are missing. If I have to keep watching my phone during the entire shopping it defies the purpose (to save time and efforts) of the app. I have twice shoppers bought the wrong items and once the shopper bought some rotten fruits. I don’t use Instacart a lot. I assume the shopper did not intentionally do that but just was not paying enough attention.

The closest Kroger is only 5 minutes away and the next one is 10 minutes away. There is really no reason for me to use Instacart unless there is a big discount. The prices on Instacart are significantly inflated most of the time. That does not even factor into tips and service fees.
