10,000 Points Referral Bonus for Chase Sapphire & INK + Referrals

Chase Refer-a-friend for Sapphire & INK

Chase is now offering a 10,000 point referral bonus on the Sapphire Preferred & INK Plus cards.

  • Refer-a-friend for the Sapphire Preferred or the INK Plus card and receive a 10,000 point bonus.
  • Up to 5 referrals can earn this bonus on each card, or 50,000 points total on each card.

The regular referral bonus is 5,000 points (up to 10 referrals), and this offer on INK and Sapphire doubles that to 10k. We’ve seen this double offer in the past for INK Plus, but I don’t think Sapphire has had this.

Many have gotten these offers via email. It can also be found by going to chasereferafriend.com. Input our last name, zip code, and final-4 of card number; the system should give the option of referring.

It’s not clear this time how long these referrals will be valid; usually it shows an end-date, but this time it isn’t showing.

  • The Freedom card is also showing a referral bonus now – it’s the standard $50 bonus.

How to Refer

The Sapphire card gives the option of referring via Twitter or Facebook or email, while the INK Plus and Freedom offer an email referral option only.

Choose the Twitter/Facebook option to get an instant referral link. The emails can take up to 7-days until they are sent out. For INK and Freedom there isn’t such an option, and we’re stuck with the email method. Send an email to yourself to have it handy for a referral opportunity that may crop up in the future.

(There used to be a workaround to get a link, but it doesn’t appear to work anymore.)

Card Bonus on Sapphire and INK

The signup bonus via the referral is on all of these cards is at the current higher-than-usual rates:

  • 50k for CSP + 5k for AU, annual fee waived the first year. This is the publicly available offer, and it’s higher than the typical 40k + 5k.
  • 60k for INK Plus, annual fee not waived the first year. This is the publicly available offer, and it’s higher than the typical 50k. Note, that it may be possible to get the same offer in branch with the annual fee waived the first year.
  • $150 for Freedom with no annual fee. This is not the highest ever as it’s been $200 before. Also unclear if there’ll be a $25 AU bonus now.
