Currently there seems to be a widespread issue with points earned on Chase Southwest cards not posting to Southwest. Normally points post a few days after statement close but users with a statement close date as early as 1/13/26 are reporting that their points still haven’t posted.
This is significant as people often time sign up bonuses to post early in the year to take advantage of the Southwest companion pass. The issue seems to be on Southwest’s end as points show as earned on Chase side and Chase reps have confirmed that the points have been ‘transferred’ on their end. Southwest reps say that they can see that the points have been earned and transferred on Chase’s end but are unsure why the points aren’t posting on their end. Southwest are also unable or unwilling to manually apply the points.
