Best Buy might be an attractive option for some people. Most people will find that they can get more than 1.11¢ per point in value though.

Hmmmm… do I want to fly Lufthansa F or do I want to eat pizza?
Hmmmm…
Let’s say the difference between Lufthansa Y and F is 20K points. For those 20K points, you either get fancy but ultimately bad first class airline food (which is… actually still bad, inferior to anything a decent home cook could make or a $20 restaurant) or you can get $200… wait, at least $220… of pizza. I’d take the $220 of pizza over the bad pretentious food/drink and the reclining chair.
[Or just save 20K for another trip]
too bad they don’t serve Domino’s at the First Class Terminal. Or you could fly Lufthansa F and eat your pizza!
for me, the food is not the reason to be up front. A flat seat and a decent amount of rest is very important for me to have a good trip. Everybody handles sleep deprivation differently. I find that the first day or two are wasted when I’m bleary-eyed and miserable from sitting up across the ocean. Since I don’t have 2 days to waste I give up the pizza
I’ve never had the food in Lufthansa F, but in Cathay Pacific it’s fantastic. Much better than pizza.
If you really do want discounted pizza, I would recommend just buying Domino’s gift cards off of Raise before you order your pizza. Can usually lock in a 12-14% discount there.
