- Introduction to US Bank ScoreBoard Reporting to Analyze Spending Activity by Travel With Grant. Nice new feature by US Bank, I just wish they’d also show data before a statement closes as well.
- Peddling An Inferior Affiliate IHG Card Link to My Own Family, and More! by Miles For Family. A lot of readers have been able to apply for the 60k offer and get the extra 20k points, but not all. Try it at your own risk, some have also been able to get the $50 statement credit added.
- Hard Pull? An Update About My Yesterday PayAnywhere Post by Lazy Travellers. Looks like it’s supposed to just be a soft pull, but probably not worth the risk for a small amount of potential MS.
- Chase’s Big Cost Advantage Makes it Possible to Fund Rich Rewards, Re-Sign Partners by View From The Wing. Not sure I share the same optimism as Gary for Chase’s future. They’ve lost Amtrak & BP cards this year, only added Chevron and also weren’t able to secure Costco, JetBlue or Macy’s. They will almost certainly re-sign United next year, but I can’t see them making any other additions to their portfolio and they seem to be actively scaling down their store card business.
- Working that Virgin America award chart by Saverocity. I really like reading these posts where people go through their thought process in booking award travel, it’s nice to see others are happy to settle for more convienent flight times/routes rather than just maximizing their points/miles balances as well.
- Points + Cash Availability For Hyatt Will Be Online Soon by Pizza In Motion. Doubt this will get done by the end of 2015, but as long as it eventually gets added I’ll be happy.
- My Experience Canceling Various Credit Cards & All The Retention Offers by PointsCentric. I don’t think he was aggressive enough in going after offers, but when you’re legitimately happy to cancel that can often be the case.
